Closing Soon Funding Opportunities
See current grants, scholarships, benefits, fellowships, and funding programs with fixed deadlines coming up soon.
Closing-soon opportunities need a different workflow from broad discovery. You are not just deciding whether a program is interesting. You are deciding whether there is enough time to submit a credible application without missing required documents, references, budgets, approvals, or portal steps.
Start by checking the official source before drafting. Confirm the exact time zone, submission portal, required attachments, whether registration is needed, and whether the deadline is for a letter of intent, nomination, full application, or supporting documents. A deadline that looks simple in a summary can hide an earlier internal deadline or eligibility step.
Then triage. Apply only when you are clearly eligible and can produce a complete submission. If a grant needs institutional approval and you do not have it, the deadline may already be unrealistic. If a scholarship needs one essay and a transcript you already have, it may be worth prioritizing.
Use the listings below as a deadline dashboard, not as final authority. Open each official source, save the instructions, and work backward from the deadline with a buffer for technical problems.

Use the listings above as a shortlist, then build your application from the official instructions. Save the source page, deadline, eligibility rules, required documents, contact details, and any program-specific scoring criteria. If the deadline is rolling, apply early enough for review queues and budget limits. If the deadline is fixed, work backward from the closing date and leave time for recommendations, institutional approvals, financial documents, and portal errors.

Closing Soon Funding Opportunities FAQ
How is closing soon determined?
This page prioritizes current fixed-deadline opportunities with upcoming deadlines, using normalized deadline status rather than old or placeholder dates.
Should I apply close to the deadline?
Avoid waiting if possible. Portals fail, recommendations take time, and official sources may close early or require pre-registration.
Are rolling opportunities included?
Rolling opportunities are better handled on the rolling-deadline page because they do not depend on one fixed closing date.
